Hi there - I'm using Apple Mail as an IMAP client and my BB is linked to the same account using BWS. I'm using Spam Sieve as my spam filter. The trouble is that Mail only checks for new messages every minute, so when a new spam message lands in my IMAP inbox on the mail server, it gets forwarded to the BB almost immediately, before it has been retrieved by Mail, processed for spam, and removed. Anyone have any ideas for how to deal with this?
My own idea was to set up a new IMAP mailbox, and forward only good messages to that new mailbox, which then get forwarded to the BB. The problem with that system is that when I mark a message as read on the BB it only gets marked as read on the "new" mailbox and not on my regular mailbox.
Any suggestions gratefully received.
