Using some info I found here I was able to get the myfaves app loaded on my 8700g. Everything is working fine, but I'm not able to access the pull-down menu in the myfaves application. Clicking on the wheel simply dials the contact's phone number... no menu as is typical with the 8700. On my pearl I have a dedicated menu button, but there's no such thing on the 8700.
This means that once a myfaves contact is created I'm unable to edit the details of the contact (specifically the icon and ringtone). I've found a workaround for the icon, but really want to change the ringtone on one of these.
Any ideas on a special key combination to bring up the menu? I've tried alt-click, shift-click, and a few others.
