Lost BB Browser and Media Net

Just bought a new pearl and I just installed the desktop software and now
my BB browser and media net are gone.?????

Did you download the newest version of the desktop software and the new OS? If not, I would follow the instructions in the sticky OS thread and are if that solves your problem. Something similar happened to me, and ended up having to get a new blackberry. But, maybe you'll get lucky. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. The software cd that came with your Pearl is the culprit. Download DM and reinstall it and they'll show back up.

reinstalling the latest os will also help!

Remember that sometimes after installing an OS, you must first go to options, then advanced options, then host routing table, then select "Register now."

after this, some new icons may appear. (y)
