Gps Maps help

I got my phone on friday and i cant get any maps up on the screen i have downloaded the maps from the bb web page but all i get is a red arrow its saying that iam connected to 5 sats but still i have no maps can any one help thanx

i have the 8800 handset

any help would be great thanx from mike

plus i cant surf on the net an error saying http error 502 bad gateway

if any one nows a way of sorting this out please let me no thanx
