does anyone know if there is a way to get the blackberry to be able to play the type of ringtones called voice ringtones, truetones, realtones or dead ringers

I believe those are all terms for polyphonic type tones which I also think only the 7100 series can play.

the 7100 can play monophonic and polyphonic midi and Oki ADPCM ringtones. The ones you mentioned above could likely be converted to Oki ADPCM (or could be composed in midi, but that would take some actual production/composition knowledge).

To get tones fopr your phone:

Go to this website from your blackberry (or any other site, but I think this one has the best selection):
http://luckyluciano.completelyfreehosting.com/ringtones/download.php

Search for your song and then click on your song. It will take a while to Dload but once it does it will play. Then click the scroll know and click save tone.

This is the only way to get tones on the phone and it only works on 7100 series phones. The ringtones are "realtones" or what ever the other names are. Basicly they sound just like the song with vocals and all that jazz.
