Unlock BB 8800, please help

Hi,

I bought a BB 8800 and it was locked to Cingular. I have the Unlock Code and want to unlock it to use with my T Mobile SIM card. Do I need to insert the Cingular before entering the code, or just insert my non working T Mobile SIM card is fine? Or do I need to insert any SIM card when entering the unlock code.

Just enter your unlock code then put in your T-Mobile sim

You mean I don't need a SIM card to Unlock the phone? Just enter the Unlock Code without SIM card?
