connection issues after phone was off

Last night I turned off my phone as I went to sleep, and it was scheduled to turn on today at 10am with an alarm, and it did. However, for about an hour after it was on the internet didn't work, and all related programs: jivetalk, email, etc.

Any tips or suggestions?? Also, how in tarnation to I remove the battery cover on the 8830 with being too forceful!?

Can't help with battery cover.

Unless someone has a better idea, I'd say coincidence. If happens again, try reboot, or hard reset if reboot doest work.
