deleting email addresses

I just bought a 8830 off craigslist and the the guy that I bought it from, he email account is still on there. Does anyone know how to delete it? Thanks.

Menu>Options>Advanced>service book>

Located the account position cursor on in

Menu>Delete

If you want to set up BIS you will need to contact the carrier.

You need to contact the seller to make sure he has canceled their BIS account, otherwise you will not be able to set up your email. If you can't reach the seller, then their carrier might help or maybe go to RIM but no guarantees.

If the device was used on BES, you will need to remove the IT Policies. Do a search to find out how.

If it was reported lost or stolen, all you have is a paperweight.

But the steps above will stop the email.

...until the service books for those email accounts are pushed back to the BB. The old BIS account still needs to be deleted.
