View Full Version : 8700g with new 4.2 OS and backlight issues...

Since upgrading my (T-Mobile) 8700g to the new 4.2, my backlight will not shut off. Messed around with all the settings I can think of. If I do shut the backlight off manually, it will come back in within 5 seconds. This is driving me nuts, please help.

Did you reboot by removing the battery and reinserting?

Yes, a few times. Thought about going back to 4.1 and re-install 4.2, but not quite sure how.

T-Mobile is going to send me a new device. Which is fine I guess. So case closed.
