Considering how new the 7520 is I wouldn't hold your breath for something new from the Nextel Blackberry camp in the near future...

I am officially making up a rumor, based on nothing, that Nextel is working on a new BlackBerry with full GPS capabilities, a 6MP camera, Bluetooth 1.2, with full data transfer. It will be in the 7100 form factor and completely hardened.

Did I miss anything - oh yeah, a themes generator!

Sorry - couldn't resist :-)

Nextel i930 approved by FCC

The Motorola i930 has been approved by the FCC according to documents posted recently to the agency's website (FCC ID AZ489FT5843). Widely talked about by Nextel power users, the i930 is the first Windows Mobile smartphone built for iDEN cell phone networks (though it also contains GSM radios for roaming support). The Motorola i930 is expected to ship in the US from Nextel.

The phone itself has been seen at various industry events for months, but always in a prototype stage. Rumors surrounding the i930 have been going around for over a year.

The Motorola i930 sports (subject to change):

Dual iDEN/GSM connectivity
Windows Mobile OS
Camera
SD I/O slot
65K color screen

NJBlackBerry is correct. Nextel is unofficially working on a 7100 series BB that supposedly will be released by the end of the year. But the full form factor BB's from Nextel won't be till next year.
