Sound quality seems ok on my 7100t right now, but my last one was horrible. Not sure if people are just getting used to it or not. Any ways, been thinking of following the instructions to downgrade my phone to ver 3.8. Just wondering what exactly does that mean in terms of feature loss and/or stability lose?

I do not use the Enterprise stuff, I have all my IMAP mail forwarded/clones over to my blackberry.net account. Beyond that I just manually since (with cable) my calendar, contacts, etc.

Few items I don't like with my phone currently are:
Fear my sound quality outgoing sucks
random reboots- white screen w/hourglass for 30 seconds... 1-2 times a day
Long delays with typing a phone number

That is about it. Any input would be appreciated on what I would lose with the downgrade, even if it might not directly affect me

If I lost something, I cannot figure out what it was. IF you were in an enterprise configuration, with a BES 4.0 backend, I think you would lose some wireless sync features (like tasks). Note sure about that.

Yes, if you have BES 4.0 (either corporate or hosted BES) you would lose wireless contacts, notes and tasks.

Makes sense -- we are still running 3.6.
