I am on a Lotus / BES server. Lotus sucks so I am using connector. Everything works great, but I am unable to figure how to get my contacts from Outlook into Lotus. My dilemma is this. I would like to import my contacts, but I do not want to synchronize them with Lotus. Basically, I would like to import my contacts directly to my blackberry, but I do not want them to reside on the server. Is it possible to have a hybrid approach where e-mail, calendar and tasks synchronize and contacts can be imported though a CSV file?

Help please, I am unable to figure this out...

Again, I want to import my contacts to my blackberry, but I do not want them to reside on the server.

I am using cingular, so maybe something can be done with the SIM card?

Many thanks,(y)

Hiya

I'm not 100% certain, but if you used the desktop manager to import your contacts in outlook through the cable, you would then have them on your blackberry.

There is also an option to stop wireless synchronisation by going to:

Address book -> Options -> and under Wireless Synchronisation, you should be able to change the setting to NO.

Hope that helps.
