Small Unknow Icon

I have a small icon that looks like a globe, with the number one next to it, it is just below the line that say 1XEV. Does anyone know what this "globe" looking ball is?

And is there anyplace to look up with these icons mean?

I have a Sprint 8830.

It's a browser push message. You might have been out of service area and requested a webpage or you got a browser message of some kind.

I believe that is a browser icon. Did you get a message while surfing the web that the network was no longer available? There is an option when that happens to notify you when the network becomes available. You'll probably see something in your Messages folder that will 'jump' to that website.

How do i remove it?

Go into your Messages and find the icon there and click on it. Once you open the browser message (in effect, mark it 'read'), the icon will disappear.

I think you can just highlight today's date and select mark prior opened.
