Has anyone heard anything about Chinese language support for the 7100 series?

Heard speculations that RIM is developing this for the 7100 series and launching it in Q3...

You can use iCJKMail to view English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean emails on BlackBerry. It is 100% truly embedded software which does not require support from the OS or wireless carrier/operator. You can setup multiple POP3 or IMAP account including SSL connection support. Download it at http://www.icjk.com.

HK service provider 1010 (1010.hkcsl.com) also offers chinese support for the 7100. Although, it appears partial to me. As in, I can now read characters that I receive, but cannot write them. I installed their software on an unlocked 7100t (downloaded from: http://1010.hkcsl.com/download/blackberry/7100C_PBrER4.0.2_rel49_PL1.8.0.138_A4.0.2.35-CSL.exe), and then I deleted the cross-vendor inhibitor files (search and delete "vendor.xml") and then used the update procedure to install the "chinese character support" package. But again, as noted above, there is still no chinese option under the language menu. But what was formerly black squares are now characters. It's very weird.

I assume it can be fixed but I don't know how. The only resource I found (on this page: http://www.one2free.com/eng/blackberry/help.jsp) seem to indicate support is available only for other BB models. But I feel certain there must be writing support if there is reading support.

Anyone know?

I am T-mobile 7100T, Installed CSL and one2free software, after installation of 7100C_PBrER4.0.2_rel49_PL1.8.0.138_A4.0.2.35-CSL, nothing happen and nothing installed to handset.

I already followed the steps... is it my phone locked?

If you just want to read Chinese e-mail, you can get the namimail for Chinese trial version from DoCoMo USA at http://www.namikiteru.com/namimail_chinese/index.htm
But you must be a BES user.
