and i'm already having troubles. i bought it on ebay, which is probably my main mistake.

i've tried contacting the seller about this matter and am waiting to hear back, i've already searched all over and here...

the password is locked. am i just plain old out of luck until someone gets back to me? is anyone at verizon even going to want to help me?

That is the answer.... It will clear it and wipe the device clear of old users info....

No, that is the correct answer. It will erase everything on the device along with the password.

The 7750 is pretty old. I'm suprised that the clerk could even activate this.
That said, the form factor is excellent, and I hope it works well for you.

I don't know from personal experience, but I've read that the 7750 is the slowest Blackberry known to man. The keyboard, however, is killer on that device. If you got it cheap and can get it running, it will be a nice way to get you hooked. Welcome to the darkside! Get your hands on an 8703 and you'll cream in your pants.
