Actually you can install BB on the SE P910a/910i as least there are reports of people using the BB software with their P910 with T-mobile.

How about in other phones running Symbian?

YOU can't install BB software on them but some may be comming with BB connect software pre loaded which allows you to connect to a BES with the phone.

I have to wonder if we ever will have Blackbery Connect software on anything here in the US.
Palm and some other companies have signed agreements, and then nothing happens.

It does take time to develop the software to work with vastly different devices.

Oh, The software is developed and in use in the UK. The US carriers don't think it is a viable product. I've seen it on quite a few devices so I know it exists. Carriers just don't want to invest in it.
