Sounds like it's associated with a BIS account? Do you know who the last user was? Does the new user know who the last user was?

Did this device belong to someone else previously? Is it getting Yahoo, gmail, hotmail type email? I would go into your service books on the device and delete the one associated with the email it is getting.

Deleting the service book will help in the short term but that service book will eventually come back again.

It is definitely not a BIS account I know the user who has it now and the person who had it before him. The person who had it before him is the one's email he is receiving.

Also there is nothing in Service books at all.

YES How in the world do I get rid of them.

Tell whoever is sending them that they have the wrong pin and to stop sending to that pin. They can only come from another BB device so someone is sending them. Pin them back and ask that they stop sending to that pin since. Have the old owner find out who it is and ask them too.

OK Maybe it is not Pin Messaging. This is plain and simple what is happening. Joe has an 8700 which was previously John's.
Joe is now receiving John's Personal COMCAST.net email on his BB.
How can I get rid of John's Comcast email from Joe's BB.

I hope that is clearer because I suck at describing problems.

Have John remove the PIN/IMEI from the BIS account.
