I ordered an 8820. Have the squeeky siderail issue been resolved?

If not I heard inserting a dental floss rap around solves the issue! :)

My 8800 has the infamous squeak, but the 8820 in a month of use has not exhibited any squeak whatsoever. It seems to be a much better quality build.

Hmmm....
I will be trying that tonight...
My 2 week old Verizon 8830 has the squeak and cheap feel to the case....
This phone seems to scratch a lot easier than my Treo 700W did.
Other than those 2 little things I love my BB and couldn't possibly go back to a WM device.

I found a couple of drops of some high quality silicone lube in the rail gap stops the squeak,

Silicone lube in the gap always is effective. :)
