Adding digit to incoming call

I have a user that told me today that on his previous 7250, and now his 8830, all incoming calls are prefixed with a 9. This makes it impossible for him to return a phone call on his BB since the number is invalid. Since this carried over from his 7250 to his 8830, I'm guessing it's an option setting somewhere. I've looked around and can not find anything referring to this. Any ideas? We have a BES 4.1 environment. Thanks.

look at phone dialer > options > smart dialing. see if he has a "9" entered somewhere like the prefix, etc.

Thanks. Found some erroneous settings under Smart Dialing in the phone options. Problem solved.
