View Full Version : 7290 Internet Problem! HELP!

Hello.
I Bought an Blackberry 7290 off ebay about 2 weeks ago and it came today.
Iv figured out most of it features BUT im having a problem getting on to the internet. On my menu where i have all my options like phone and stuff tthere is no button i can find to access the internet. Im with Rogers Wireless Canada. Please help. Thanks.

WHat's it show in the upper right hand corner - GSM, GPRS, gprs?

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan? You are not picking up a data network.

Hey NJblackberry, I called rogers at lunch today :D I got the internet working....I had to sighn up to a data plan but w/e it was worth it. But i have a new question for you. Is there a free app i can put on my phone so i can you my msn? thanks for all your help..

The free options aren't that great and give more trouble than they're worth. I suggest JiveTalk for IM. It works with all the IM services and is relatively bug free. Give it a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's the IM client of choice by most of the members of this forum. They do have a free 30 day trial.
