I just bought a Blackberry 7130e and i cannot figure out how to open my Inbox for text messaging. I go to my message options on my pinwheel and i can only open "message options"

you should have a message folder/envelope on home screen.

are you looking for the compose icon? if so it may be hidden

lhnosk, welcome to the Forums.

With the Message folder open, click the trackwheel and you should have options for COMPOSE EMAIL, COMPOSE SMS, COMPOPSE PIN.

If you do not, call your carrier and confirm that SMS (text) messaging has been provisioned for your account.
