How does Desktop Manager work with (2) different BBs?

This may be a stupid question but I'm gonna ask anyway...

I bought a Curve and have backed it up with the new DM that came with device. I now want to clean up my 8700 in case I give or sell it to someone. I've seen the instructions as to how to wipe the 8700 but will that have any effect on my Curve as I assume that the App Loader would now have all of the Curve's info stored on it?

DM handles two BBs with no problem at all. It will know the difference between your two devices. My wife and I both have BlackBerry devices; I have an 8300 and she has an 8100. I am connected to a third-party BES, so my PIM data gets synchronized wirelessly. I only connect my device to sync up CryptMagic and install apps for which there is no OTA download.

She, however, syncs her PIM to the desktop (same Outlook profile so we share calendars and contacts). We do this frequently throughout the week, sometimes multiple times a day, without any interference at all.
