i just hooked my BB7520 to my comp via USB cable it came with and ran desktop manager and said there was updates it needed to make so i did them. then i ran it again and hooked up BBlight. now it won't find my handheld everytime i tried to connect. first time in the drop down on connection it had USB-400274f or whatever my pin is...now it just says USB and won't connect. what can i do or needs to be done? thanks

Had this problem a while back with my 7510. I have a PC, not sure if ur on mac or not. On the PC go to:

1) Device Manager
2) Expand the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers"
3) Right click on "USB Root Hub" then "Properties"
4) Click on the "Power Management" tab
5) Take the check mark out of the box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to conserve power"
6) Do this for all of the "USB Root Hub" that you see

I can't say that this will work for you. A tech at Nextel asked me to do this and it worked for me. If not do a forum search under "Handheld Not Found"
you will get a lot of other tips on the subject. Hope it helps.

Are you on Blackberry Entrprise Server (BES) or on Blackberry Web Client (BWC). They should have given you a Quick Start Guide to set it up the Web Client, if not here is the link: http://www.nextel.com/en/support/guides/phones/bb7520.shtml

you'll see the link for the Quick Start guide in PDF format.

Try these links: The first one is a list of know issues:
http://www.blackberry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe?func=ll&objId=8142&objAction=browse&sort=name

The second is closer to what your looking for:

Hope it helps. Out of ideas

LMFAO!!! Dawg you are going to kill me...LOL

i have my blackberry in my cradle and the charger cord going through it...well i was plugging it into my blackberry (since it looks the same as the USB cable)

Thats why it wouldn't work OPERATOR ERROR!!! LMAO

hope everyone gets a good chuckle from this and from now on when someone is trying to diagnose the problem always ask "are us sure you have the USB cord plugged in and not the charger" LMAO

as for the manager...it works fine...lol

now can you tell me how to setup that personal email account. thanks dawg
