I am running an 8310 with GPS.
When I use BB Maps and when I ask it to locate my position it comes up with a message "searching satellites". It takes some time but when it gets a lock it shows me where I am.
With Google maps. I can't specifically ask my location, it just will appear eventually. No indication it is using the GPS at all.
My question is, does google maps just rely on triangulation of cell towers to get you position or does it actually use the GPS in the 8310?
