Speed Dialing Voicemail

For some reason the voicemail setting got erased from my speed dial list (w). I tried inputting my phone number, but then it doesn't automatically enter ther password.
I tried calling voicemail and assigning the speed dial from the call log, but it is not an option.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it setup again so when I press 1 (w) it calls voicemail and enters my password?

Remove the battery to reboot the device. It will come back.

Apparrently, it only delays for 3-seconds prior to sending the password. How does one extend that timer?

i would say enter a pause or a wait in your voicemail number

You can even enter an additional pause if one is not enough
