Thumbs up Review - GE Security Supra eKey FOB for BlackBerry - 01-21-2009, 03:07 PM

Here's a QUICK VIDEO on the new BlackBerry keyfob from GE Security.

There are pretty much no instructions. Simple one touch operation. It took two tries to discover and connect the bluetooth but it did work. The BT connection asked for a password so I entered "0000" and that worked.

Seems to work without issues check the video for more...

Probably the same thing that happened to all the other "good old days"...

At least realtors have an option now that works with the BB.

The electronic keys do more than let you in the door. They also assist the realtors' association in keeping records of who visited which property when.

That's potentially a large amount of passcodes to remember. Here's what you do. Have all the keys in one location, assign it a number. Then you have a spiral or other legal pad. Each page has a number on top. When you take key 45, you log it time and date and if it's in or out. As George Carlin would say, "It's a real simple operation, isn't it? It's low tech shit..." Love that guy

You're clearly not familiar with the real estate industry. An agent/broker pulling that wouldn't be around for very long.

In any case, the passcode is a BT pairing passcode. They're 0000 for pretty much all BT devices.
