I offer this review in addition to lgreenberg's review of the same skin. Since he took several great photos, I will not waste space in this review with similar ones - refer to his review for images please.

Mine arrived this afternoon, and I eagerly tried it out. Initially it looks a little flimsy, but when a skin like this is not actually on the device, is always will. I inserted my 8700c the same way lgreenberg did, and it was very easy to insert/remove. No hints of tearing or stretching at all, after several times. Once inserted, it takes only a couple very minor pushes/pulls here and there to get it properly aligned with the ear speaker and side buttons/jacks. Everything is properly exposed where necessary, and even though the Send/End/Convenience keys are covered on the face of the device, they are all very easily pushed, causing no issues at all. The side keys and trackwheel are equally easy to use.

When held against the face for talking it is surprisingly hardly noticeable. I thought I would be a little bothered by it, but I am not. It's quite comfortable - no irritation.

Overall, I like this skin a lot. It's durable, clean looking and provides a nice amount of extra protection. Will it save your device from a drop off the roof - I doubt it. But I would feel a LOT more comfortable if this skin was on my 8700c if I dropped it out of my pocket or off the desktop. and had I been using this skin three weeks ago I would NOT have those annoying scratches on three corners of my device!

This skin works well with the device while in the BlackBerry 8700c/r/g USB Sync Cradle, making a nice desktop pair:




NOTE: There will be a new holster available for this use with this skin in the coming days. When available I will obtain one and write a review to accompany this one.

Pros: Strong material, fits well, easy access to all buttons/jacks, slim design.

Cons: No screen protection.

Conclusion: The fit is just right, everything is accessible, it isn't bulky, and it provides nominal protection - nicely done Seidio! I eagerly anticipate the holster's arrival.
