Default Review: Seidio 2400mAh extended battery for 8700x series - 01-10-2007, 08:52 AM

I ordered my extended battery last week, and received it promptly about 4-5 days later (over a weekend).

Upon first inspection, everything appeared to be very well made, and the fit/finish of the door and the battery itself is very good. My stock/standard battery door always had a little movement to it, and this battery door is very solidly on, with no movement at all.

I charged the battery overnight when I received it, and confirmed it was at a 100% charge when I woke up in the morning and unplugged it (5:45am). I immediately connected the bb to my bt headset (a Plantronics 640e). I disconnected the headset around 4pm for one hour, and then disconnected it for the evening around 7:30pm (total of around 12.5 hours connected). During the day, I sent/received around 50 or so emails, and spent around 45 minutes on the phone total, with not much internet browsing. Around 10:30pm, I checked my battery status again, and it was still at 85%.

I'm definitely satisfied with this purchase. Hopefully in the long term the performance will remain the same--I'll try to report back on that as time goes on as well.
