I just got mine today...I really like it, but the screen keeps wanting to pop out...I have tried it several times...I'm probably doing something wrong!

Same issue here. I just got the black case, and the screen protector does not fit well on the 7290 (remember it is slightly thicker than the 7260)
but other than that it looks awesome... mabey a little glue or shoe goo to keep it in place...

I see the same bulge in the SkinTight case with my 7290 -- with or without the screen protector inserted.

The 7290 is 0.9 inches deep, while the 7230 is 0.8 inches deep. That 0.1-inch difference may not sound like a lot, but it's more than a 10 percent increase in size.

That difference may account for the bulge. The bulge is less pronounced with my 7230, which has eGrips installed on the back and sides. I wasn't willing to peel off the eGrips, so I can only assume the bulge would disappear on a 7230 without the eGrips.

I plan to post a full review of the SkinTight case when I get a chance. Overall, I do like it.

Yuppers... bulge on the left hand side... and the bottom left corner of the protector looks like it is not in the hole.

Any update on the availability for the 7520? I have a 7510 and I assume this will fit.

Default When can we expect availability for 7510? - 05-21-2005, 08:23 AM

I have 20 guys out in the field with 7510s. This looks like a ideal solution. What can I expect these to be available?

does the holster have the inner workings of the stock holster to power it down and conserve battery power?

I'm using it on my 7290 and all the buttons are accessable. because the case is raised from the keypad the outer columns of keys require some minor adaption but its not a big deal.

SmartPhoneDepot will begin shipping them tomorrow. I will post a link as soon as the page is active.

The belt clip portion of the case does have the sleeper function.

Late June.

Depending on the "field" here is a very popular choice as an alternative http://store.bizshopr.com/nexntz6510.html

Default We tried these, too tight - 05-23-2005, 06:51 AM

We tried these as well as nearly everything else that is out there. Our field techs for now have mostly stuck with the original plastic holders. Unfortunately over time they really start scuffing the devices.

Just be careful with the rugged nextel case I have seen three screens cracked with the use of the rugged case seems the belt clips backing isnt larger than the screen and when pressure is applied to the side of the case it cracks the screen.

Default Will the case for the 7100t fit the 7100g? - 05-23-2005, 06:13 PM

Hi ... I don't know what the difference is between the 7100t and 7100g, but I was wondering if anyone has tried a 7100g in the 7100t case?

Please let me know if I am totally smoking something here ...

Thanks.

How can I pre-order one for a 7100t so it ships ASAP when it is released? (website says May 30th). My bb is getting too beaten up, and I'm even careful with it :(

I've got the little left-side screen bulge discussed above on my 7250...any resolution, or advice?

I love the case...I've got one for my iPod, too, and it is great. The feel is really solid, and my BB doesn't feel like a bar of soap in my hands anymore...

The bulge seems to be a design "feature" and it's pretty minor IMO - I run my case without the "screen Protector" and use a ScreenGuardz directly on the display as well.

I think the bulge is only a "feature" (and obviously one I don't like) on the 7250, and the sleeve fits neatly and perfectly around the 7290. My question is, why recommend (earlier in this thread) the 7290 sleeve to 7250 owners if it has this bulge, and not just tell interested 7250 owners to wait for a 7250 version instead of buying the Bulge?

And I WANT to use the screen protector for my BB...as I've seen with my iPod case, when the sleeve fits properly (without any bulges or gaps), it is a perfect fit. Using ScreenGuardz still leaves a) the bulge and b) a "crater" around the screen.....

I have been using this product on my BB and have noticed that the belt clip does have the sleeper function, however it is easy to put the BB into the belt clip portion of the case and the sleeper function not take because the magnets do not line up properly. Other than that, this is a great case!
