Can anyone tell me why everything else would work okay but not the BB Browser?
Ours worked fine until last week when one of our guys tried to move the BB database to another server (unsuccessfully). The database was moved back to it's original location but since then the BB Browser has not worked for any user.
I can't seem to find any setting relating to the database. does it have something to do with MDS?

I should say that we're running BES 4.1 SP3.

Indeed it has to do with the MDS Connection Service ... if you go through the ALRT log on your BES do you see anything in there pointing to this? Are any errors being generated on the BES? What if any errors are generated on the HH when attempting to use the BB Browser?

I can't really see anything in the logs. The handheld error is "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request. The server could not understand the Page Request or was unable to process it....."

Are there any SQL errors being generated?

Check this - HTTP 400 - Bad Request ... change the setting and put it back to what it was originally ... and then restart the MDS CS Service.

It keeps prompting me for SSL Certification Info. What actually happened was that a collegue of mine tried to move the SQL database from one server to another. He was unsuccessful in this (mainly because he didn't what he was doing with to begin with) and then moved the db back to where it was. since then we've had these problems.

In between the time when the silly SQL move occur, is there any BES upgrade? I remember that an upgrade from 4.1.0 to 4.1.3 will have the MDS properties for proxy server mess-up. You will need to re-configure the proxy mappings so that users can use MDS-CS to browse web.

I finally sussed it out. It was to do with the proxy settings. I just wan't sure what went where but everything seems to be okay now.
