Default BIS through BES

Do my BIS email accounts run through the corporate BES Exchange? If so, as the BES Admin, how do I turn off BIS running through BES?

Sorry if this has already been answered - I searched all morning and could not find the answer.

No.

BIS is separate to BES, but email will still be sent into the device 'messages folder'

you can disallow 'other mail services' under an IT Policy setting.

Incoming BIS messages to handheld... no, not through BES.

Outgoing BIS messages from handheld... maybe. Depends on your BES IT Policies. You can choose to force replies to BIS messages to use your BES mail account only. (If you want.)

As the BESAdmin you need to do nothing to prevent BIS messages going through your BES.
