Default BES down *Please help*

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there, new to the forums; new to RIM.

We have been on a trial BES; which was set to expire, but have made the commitment and received a 5 user key for BES + an add'l 5 user key.

In following the resources of removing our trial sw and installing fresh I've run into some problems.

1. which CALs are to be used? I'm only asked for one. I've tried both ways.
2. receiving msg "eval has expired" ..."server won't function" AAAGH!

I have several users which will soon be very unhappy w/me. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

R Davis

I don't think it's the CALs.
Sounds like the temporary SRP that RIM gave you has expired.
Did they give you a new SRP ID and SRP Auth Key?

Is your SRP still valid?

Slow day at the office for me today, else you'd be hours ahead of me.

Heck... 2 identical answers within 3 mins of posting the query, normally you'd have to pay for that level of support!

Woo hoo, we're on form today. Anyone got any Domino BES queries?!
(That was a joke BTW people. I'm going home in 45 mins!)

Wow, far too much caffeine for Jadey today. Whoops.

Yes, they did....well for the SBE BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 for Microsoft Exchange - 5 user pkg. I've contacted CDW as getting someone on the phone @ RIM seems to be a holy quest.

I've checked the sql table and the srpID and key match what we purchased. -Until I know if these are expired, I guess I'm dead in the water, huh?
