Post Groupwise Blacklists Problem - Noob

Please Login to Remove!

So, I'm running BES 4.1.3 for GroupWise 6.5.7 (5/22/07) with a Win 2003 Server SP2 as my BES. I'm using the Blacklist feature in GWIA to block a huge chunk of spam. The spam does not make it to the desktop clients, but it does make it to the handhelds (I'm using an 8320 with T-Mobile).

Any advice?

I saw a post elsewhere about increasing a delay delivery time registry entry to maybe fix this. Haven't tried it yet. Wanted to see what the experts had to say.

Thanks!

First off ... Welcome to BBForums!

It sounds like GWIA is processing the message after the BES is seeing it ... this would indeed be a perfect situation to delay BES message delivery as you don't want the BES to be so quick.

Okay, so long story short - that wasn't really happening. Thanks for the reply though!

Long story:

I had to update my GW system to 6.5.7 (5/22/07) in order for BES to work. When I did so, it cleared my blacklists in GWIA. Once I set them up again, everything works fine. No blacklisted email is getting to the BB.
