Default Problems with MDS in Blackberry Manager

Please Login to Remove!

It errors retrieving information from server.

I have recreated the SSL certificate as detailed by hdawg, but still getting errors. Is the certificate name case sensitive?

These are errors from the log file

Yes looked at that.

The interesting thing is this....

A proxy server is preventing access to http://<FQDN>:7443/mdss, and allowing access to http://<NETBIOS>:7443/mdss.

For example, you cannot connect using http://NetBIOS.domain.com:7443/mdss, but you can connect using http://NetBIOS:7443/mdss.

Note: The BlackBerry Enterprise Server uses Microsoft Internet Explorer components to access the MDSS page. A proxy server could be blocking access to the site.

if I connect to http://<FQDN>:7443/mdss or http://<NETBIOS>:7443/mdss, I get nothing. If I connect to https://<FQDN>:7443/mds I get the MDS Services Manager web page up. Is the blackberry manager trying to connect to the wrong URL?

If you cannot import the certificate using BlackBerry Manager in BlackBerry Enterprise Server software version 4.1.2, import the certificate using Microsoft Internet Explorer. To do this, open the URL in Microsoft Internet Explorer (go to https://netBIOS.domain.com:7443/mds). You should be prompted for the BlackBerry Enterprise Server administration account user name and password (as specified during the BlackBerry MDS installation). You can also locate the user name and password through the BlackBerry Configuration Database.

Note: You can only access the BlackBerry MDS link in BlackBerry Manager when you can successfully connect to the BlackBerry MDS link in Microsoft Internet Explorer without being prompted for installing a certificate.

This works
