Default Calendar time off

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I noticed today that when a user tries to schedule a meeting on their handheld, it shows up an hour off in outlook. For example, I schedule a meeting from 3 - 4 on the blackberry calendar, in Outlook it shows up as 4 - 5. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Guessing it has something to do with DST...
Have you applied all the RIM DST patches to BES and the handhelds?

I guess I assumed all of the DST patches were applied already. We just rolled everything out 2 weeks ago.

Nope, don't assume - you still need the patches on the BES (the 8820's should have already-patched OS's).

Here is the patch for the BES: Update for daylight saving time changes in 2007 for Exchange 2003 Service Pack 2

This looks like the Exchange server patch that has already been done. Is there a patch for the BES server? BES and Exchange aren't living on the same box.

And I'm not an Exchange guy, but I can tell you that you prolly need to pay special attention to the Send As Permission part.
