Unhappy Full Exchange and BES restore

Please Login to Remove!

I had to rebuild both a Win2003 sbs server and restore user mailboxes which is now working fine.

I've also reinstalled BES 3.6.3 on a win2000sp4 server and Im having problems adding some users.

So far I've added 3 successful users from the GAL which has determined thier pin numbers and status.

When I try to add the remaining 3 users, BES tells me it cannot with the message "mailbox may have been deleted".

Any ideas whats going on here - is my problem with Exchange or BES?

Many thanks

I would say with Exchange. Can the users login to the mailbox?

sounds like bes cant see the mailbox , if they are recreated send them a email on their smtp address to ensure that it will be created so mapi can see the mailbox.

Thanks for the replies

All Exchange users are currently working fine, sending and receiving mail, although I suspect their may be corruption (for the want of a better word) in these mailboxes from the restore.

Is the exchange server on a different domain to the BES?

I had this issue once and my problem turned out to be the trust relationship between the domains.

The BES and Exchange server are in the same domain.

I discovered that there were permission problem via the adsiedit.msc so I've reran forestprep and domainprep. The permissions all look fine now so Im abot to remove and re-install BES.

I'll let you know how I get on.
