Default Unable to send from Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

All,

We recently migrated all of our users from an exchange 5.5 server to exchange 2003. I recently turned off all the services on our exchange 5.5 server, as we are getting ready to get rid of it. After doing that some, but not all of our blackberry users are unable to send messages from their blackberry. All email is now currently coming through the 2003 server. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks,

Just curious, what kind of devices are able to send and receive email from this new server? Are you (your unit) able to send and receive?

If you take one of the devices and reboot the units since the migration..have you done that?

Also, using one of the units, perform a re-provision..

It has been about two weeks since we moved all of the users mailboxes onto the new server. At that piont everyones blackberrys were working fine. It was only until i turned off all of the exchange services on our 5.5 server that this happened.

Some of the devices are pointing to the old exchange server for their emails. BB Cant pick it up because it doesnt know which mailbox to access. Does this happen with your device as well? Try a reprovision

Do you mean reactivating the device.

Reprovision The device, not re-activate. Clear the service books and Provision

Users can receive but not send emails, errors in event log

Maybe that thread or one like it should be stickied?
