Question Admin changes reboot server?

Please Login to Remove!

I've noticed that when I login to the BES server (Windows 2003 Standard with BES 4.14), thru terminal services at BESADMIN and change something the server locks within a few hours.
Has anyone else experienced this? This started about 3 months ago so I upgraded from 4.0 to 4.14 thinking that might fix it, but no luck.
Any ideas?

...so if you don't ever connect via RDP the server doesn't reboot or hang (which is it by the way - and if it hangs do the services stop too, or is it just the RDP session that becomes unresponsive)?

Never seen anything exactly like that (although I've seen oddities with both TSE and VNC on the same server). All I can suggest is to check what the Microsoft and RIM logs had in them immediately prior to the failure (so not very helpful I'm afraid). Are there any errors occurring regularly in any logs?

When you say the server locks ... you mean it hangs / crashes? Or the RDP session locks you out from a security perspective.

I've never seen this on any server with any application logging in remotely ... try logging into the server console:

Start > Run > mstsc /console

and enter in the server info ... see if that does anything.
