Default Acessing BES with Mutliple SIMs

Please Login to Remove!

Question.

We are trying to reduce our roaming charges (as our rates up here suck) so we are considering buying some US SIMs for our Canadian users that travel to US a lot. The idea would be when they are in the US, they use the US SIM and when in Canada, the Canadian one. I'm wondering if this will have any impact on the users connection to our BES? Would it have to be activated on both SIMs?

Blackberry services are independent of the SIM card or carrier.

In other words, it doesn't care how it gets connected to RIM's data network.

You will have to make sure that:

1. The Blackberry they have is GSM unlocked to support multiple carrier's SIMs
2. Both SIM card's are provisioned through their respective carrier for Blackberry Enterprise Server data.
