When I upgraded MSDE 7 to MSDE 2000 during the 4.0 migration I forgot to a default setting. I forgot to enable TCP/IP connections to the database, so I'm unable to remotely using Blackberry Manager. Instead I've been using Remote Desktop Connection to access Blackberry Manager. That's been fine, but once in a while all the connections are being used because our Mail Team also connects on occasion.

Can someone tell me what command(s) I'd have to perform to change this setting to allow TCP/IP connections?

Thanks. Actually, I do have it enabled. For some reason I during the install of BB Manager on my desktop it cannot connect to the database. I'll run through it again and post the error I'm receiving.

do you use ntauth or sql logon , if you use windows make sure you have sql server setup to accept both types.
