Default Messages not arriving on BB device

Please Login to Remove!

BES 3.6 & exchange 5.5

I have a user who has a 7100v BB device, If he leaves the blackberry on overnight it stops picking up messages for the next day, however, if I switch it off and on it picks ups the messages?

I know the work around is switch it off and on, but it would be nice to getting it working properly?

any ideas why this is occuring ?

I have removed and readded the user into BES again, waiting to hear back from the user.

With 3.6, we had this same issue for a few users. I haven't heard of it since upgrading to 4.0, though. I think our issues with 7100 users had the 3.8 OS and used both BES and BIS/BWC for email. You can reset the device, turn off/on the wireless, or simply try attempting to send an email from the device to fix. You may want the user to upgrade to OS 4.0 if they're still on 3.8. Also, you may want to try deleting the BES service books and having them readded (just hook up and regenerate an encryption key).
