Default Newbie Help: Redirection of BES Administrator 3.6

Please Login to Remove!

Guys,

First post, did try a search but couldn't find anything!!

We are running BES 3.6 and Exchange 5.5. I have rebuilt and migrated Exchange 5.5 onto a new robust server 'Exch New', moved over the mailboxes etc with the intention of decommisioning the old exchange 'Exch Old'.

At present, I am unable to run the BES Admin app if the 'Exch Old' exchange services are stopped.

How can I point the BES admin tool to look at the 'Exch New' server so I can finally decommission 'Exch Old'????

Many Thanks in Advance
Stace

I had to manually change a few entries in the registry to get my remote workstations working correctly.

Run regedit and search for "Exch Old" and change the instances of it to "Exch New"

Did that no change!!!

Blackberry Support claim the Admin tool is using a mailbox on the 'Exch Old' server, that is definately not the case!!

Did you change the MAPI profile on the BES to point to the new server? It should be in the Start Menu folder for BlackBerry, I believe.
