Default Hotsyncing to another users calander

Please Login to Remove!

Hey Everyone, I'm new to the forum so I wanted to say hello...(I've been lurkin for a bit)

but the other day I ran across a wierd issue...

Our CEO has a B-berry that he lives by, he wanted his admin to be able to update his calendar from HER blackberry.. as well as have a valid copy of his calander in her b-berry so she always knows where he is supposed to be.

SO when I set her up, I gave her rights to his mailbox, and added his mailbox to open in Outlook when she opens hers (added an additional mailbox) then I set intellisync to sync the calendar to HIS Calendar..

The problem is that for some reason it decided to stop working...It was working, and then all of a sudden when she syncs the desktop mgr fatal errors and closes and the sync fails..(If I point it to HER calendar it works fine) She is syncing to his contacts with no problem but it Will not sync to his calendar...
I've reinstalled her Desktop mgr, tried wiping the bberry stats from both blackberries and readding them...Nothing works (Enteprise server 3.6 for Exchange with 10 users) It doesn't even write an error to the event log so I can't even figure out WHY it's crashing...

I'm catching a LOT of heat here so any ideas would be great....

Thnaks

Are you using wireless calendaring for both devices?
Have you wiped out the sync config info in her profile yet and recreated it?

Our CEO has wireless calendar sync enabled...she does not when she sync's to his calendar. I have wiped out the entire b-berry profile under that user and recreated it which forced a new intellisync config :(

Could that be a problem if one has it enabled and the other doesnt?

Disclaimer: I am guessing on this stuff and going through the steps I would go through with one of my support folks, so if I am leading you down the wrong path or it doesn't work... sorry...

No I was thinking more that it would be a problem if they both had it enabled. The new config didn't solve it either?

I find it a bit odd that it even worked at all initially. What happens if you set them both to Outlook sync instead of wireless sync? does that work? I am thinking that there is a flag being set for the wireless sync that is throwing things off.

No dice on that...but I have noticed something weird..it doesn't seem to matter WHAT calendar I sync to...for any user, if i sync to anything other then that users folder the desktop mgr crashes with an ixflok.flk error (Sometimes it doesn't even give that, it just dissappears)

I tried creating a public folder calendar and sycning my Crackberry with it and it won't...so it's not limited to that user...

Hmmm
