Default remove uninstalled server from BES SQL DB

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I just uninstalled a server that was pointing to the same SQL db.
On the windows machine, the server is gone but when I open the blackberry manager it still show the 2nd server alive and kicking with the MDS website active.

I can even add users to the server that is gone..

Does anyone know how I can remove this old server from the SQL DB as well as the MDS connection service and website??

Thanks

Filip

Glad you can now remove those objects using the BlackBerry Manager. Prior to 4.1.3 you had to manually delete them from the db.

and how can one do this?

I think that this will be necessary with me because I get errors that the services need to be uninstalled and no longer mapped to a bes, which is not the case..

Thank in advance!

You can do it very easily. Just remove the row with that removed server name. It is in following tables:
IMConfig (if you are using IM - LCS/OCC/Sametime)
MDSAGConfig (MDS website)
MDSConfig (Connection service)

And also remove the server mapping (if it was set on the other servers) - but that can be done in Desktop Manager.
