Default Transfer Device from on system to another - Remotely

Please Login to Remove!

I'm a newbie to BES and I just installed a system for a company - they have 20 remote users with devices in Oklahoma. These devices are currently being used on another BES system. I need to get these devices off of the existing system and on to the newly installed system remotely - The new system and corporate office is in Chicago. I would appreciate anyone’s advice on the best way to accomplish this. Thanks

If the 2 BES servers are using different databases you will have to wipe the devices and activate them on the new BES server.

Default

Point your new installation (with no users on it) to the configuration database of the existing system and then drag and drop users between the servers. Then move the database to a more permanent location near the new BES.
