Default BES Express questions

Hi, I'm a newbie but I did read all the posts on the 8830 last night.

In the past I've used Treo's and Q's with exchange active sync. Currently I'm using Desktop redirector which seems to work OK except the redirect emails that show up in my inbox and quickly disappear don't always disappear when I'm accessing webmail from home (30 lat night).

If I download and install BES X is this any big advantage over the redirect other than the obvious of leaving my desktop on all the time? Should I use the same install guide in the BES 2007 exchange sticky for the BES X version?

BES or express can only be installed by IT admins with various rights over the mail server. If you're not your IT admin in your company then you won't be able to get it running for you..

I'm not an IT admin, but they all work for me. So is the install or BES X the same as BES and will it work with Exchange 2007?

BES Express will work with Exchange 2007 but has to be installed on a separate server though. Your admin can always review the documentation on the RIM web site, BlackBerry Technical Solution Center. BES and BES X are the same thing as well, the only difference is that BES Express comes with a free small business single user license.
