Hi All - I am new to BES and have an issue that I cannot find any info on. In my SBS 2003 event viewer, I am getting the following error every minute:

SCS::PerformDBHealthCheck: GetStyleSheetFromDB failed
Source: Blackberry Messaging Agent

The blackberry devices are sending and receiving messages with no problems but there is something going on in the background that I would like to fix.

The Blackbery Manager is version 4.1.4.15.

Any ideas on what is causing the issue and suggestions for resolution?

What is your Email Platform? Domino/ Outlook / Groupwise? I have that feeling it is domino but i guess I can always wait for the answer.

EMail is Outlook 2003 with the server being a MS SBS 2003 (Exchange 2003) server. Sorry for the slow response and thanks for answering!

Any chance you can post the full event? including the ID#? RIM doesn't really publish a whole heck of a lot ... having an event id would help.

Can you look into your dispatcher log (DISP) and check out the events surrounding this event and post them too?

I'm pretty new and don't see the dispatcher log anywhere. Would you tell me where to find this log? Thanks!

C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\Logs\20080228\ and it'll be listed as DISP.

I'm not sure if you solved this or not, but I came across this thread while searching for a solution as I just had the same problem. Also, my CPU usage was maxed out with bmds.exe taking all the CPU time.

It turns out that the disk that the logs are kept on was completely full. I deleted all the older logs to free up space and my CPU usage dropped. The Application event log also stopped making those "SCS::PerformDBHealthCheck: GetStyleSheetFromDB failed" entries.
