This may seem like a really simple question, but it's confusing me so much.

We have just had a new email exchange server installed where I work and now the 4 or 5 people that use blackberries can't get the email function to work for love nor money. Their personal email accounts (aol, hotmail etc) are working still, it's just their corporate email that isn't.

For them to be able to receive email to their blackberries as they did before our computers were networked and the server was installed, do we HAVE to purchase and install a blackberry server? I can't seem to find any clear information about this....

No, they've been having their email automatically forwarded to their blackberries through pop/imap accounts. Is such a method compatible with an exchange server?

If not, maybe getting the Blackberry Professional Software is going to be the best resolution....

Do you have OWA setup with Exchange? They could connect via HTTPS through BIS? You could also use Exchange to forward a copy of all of their mail to their external BIS address.

That said, the best solution would be to implement BlackBerry Professional Software; it really will give you the best experience out of all.
