Hello,

Most BB users have child folders within the Outlook sent items.
BES will sync the sent items folder correctly but once you move a message from the sent items folder to a child folder (within Outlook), this message will remain in the sent items folder on the BB device (Curve).

It works fine for child folders within the inbox if you check the option "hide filed messages".

Has anyone experienced a similar issue ...

Just tested this by creating a folder in my sent items & moving a message to it. I did a reconcile now and the message moved to the new folder. I am going to move another one and wait to see if it moves without manually reconciling. We are BES 4.1.4, Exchange 2003

I can't even choose to sync child folder within the sent items folder. Maybe it's due to my older BES version (v. 4.1.3) !?!

It moved without me having to manually reconcile.

You can manually reconcile your email by opening messages, click the track wheel or menu button depending on your model. Scroll down the menu until you see Reconcile Now and choose it.

There have sometimes been issues with moving messages if you don't have the Hard Deletes Reconcilation set on the BES. It doesn't seem reasonable to me that this would be the case here, but it's worth a shot to look at it.

In BB Manager, go to Servers and then the servers tab. Highlight your BES server and click Edit Properties. Click Messaging and check the 'Hard Deletes Reconciliation' setting. If you change this setting, you do need to restart the BES for it to take effect.

Also, you may be right about the 4.1.3 not working correctly. I would check the release notes for 4.1.4 to see if that problem is addressed.

I already tried to reconcile emails manually, it didn't change anything. I also tried the Hard Delete Reconcilation option, same result ...

I will check the 4.1.4 release notes to see if an upgrade can help.
