Default BB redirector question for admins

Please Login to Remove!

I currently work in a large corp that house over 1000+ blackberry on the BES. my manager asked me if there is way to check which users have the redirector installed on there desktops. we currently use the BES which is our main method of directing mail to users blackberrys.

how can i find out on a mass scale as to which users have the blackberry redirector enabled instead of going there the BES directly. your help on this would be greatly appriciated. thanks guys.

If users are using the redirector there's no way a BES admin is going to know. Check with your desktop support group to see if they can run a report to see who has the DM installed.

I would use SMS technology from Windows and do a search for the exe on the local machine. Note that this may not be a 100% but close enough---when I mean not a 100%, there may be some machines not properly connected to the domain.

That is the way I did it when I rolled out Dmanager and then uninstalled it.
